Questions Frequently Asked by Members of the BOA

Is the JBJS included with my BOA membership?
A subscription to the JBJS is included with the membership of Fellows, Overseas Fellows, Members and Associates of the BOA. These members receive a calendar year subscription to either the Combined Volume JBJS (printed), Combined Volume CD-ROM or DVD-R.
I wish to change my BOA membership details from receiving the CD-ROM/DVD-R to the print (or vice versa).
Please contact the BOA, who pay the JBJS for your membership. The JBJS is unable to make any changes in this regard without prior written authorization from the BOA.
I already subscribe to the JBJS and have recently joined the BOA.
As soon as we receive notification from the BOA that you are to be added to their mailing list for the Journal, we will refund you directly for the portion which is duplicated by your BOA membership.
I receive the Combined Volume JBJS (printed) with my BOA membership. How can I receive the Combined Volume JBJS on CD-ROM/DVD-R as well?
You may order the Combined Volume JBJS on CD-ROm/DVD-R directly from the JBJS subscriptions department.
I have changed my address for mailing of the Journal. Where do I need to send notification of my new address?
You may send notification of your new address to the BOA or the JBJS subs{at}jbjs.org.uk, or both. We notify each other of your new details. Please make sure that you arrange a redirection service on your post so that you do not miss any issues which may be in transit.
I have not received an issue of the Journal. Who should I contact to get a replacement?
Please contact the BOA in the first instance, as they are your agent for the JBJS. The BOA liaises with the JBJS to resolve your problem.
